While there are many aesthetic clinics in KL and Selangor, some of the doctors may not have a LCP (Letter of Privileging and Credentialling) for aesthetic procedures from the Malaysian Ministry of Health. Do request your aesthetic clinic to show the LCP of their doctor before you decide to get your aesthetic procedure done.
As for the clinic selection, the online world provides overwhelming information and while some of the sites do provide the needed information; the methods on how the clinics are selected are not explained. Are the medical doctors verified by checking with the Malaysian Medical Council etc.? Some of the sites even mixed up the aesthetic clinics with beauty salons, thus confusing you even further.
